Vienna, May 27, 2025 – Global Path Connections, with its diverse team of dedicated professionals, proudly spearheaded support for the International Conference on “Empowering Afghan Women through Education and Employment” in Vienna, May 23-24, 2025. Organized by the Afghan Cultural Association in Austria (AKIS) alongside the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation and the City of Vienna, the event galvanized global commitment to Afghan women’s education and opportunities. Our team provided critical pro bono services in communications, awareness, and connectivity, amplifying the Woman Online University (WOU) and the Vienna Declaration to ensure Afghan women’s voices resonated worldwide.

Since 2022, WOU has empowered 17,000 girls through weekly lectures across 16 faculties, covering diverse topics. Supported by 700 dedicated volunteers from the vibrant Afghan diaspora, WOU leverages Google Meet, Zoom, and YouTube to provide accessible, high-impact education. The Global Path Connections team, as a committed ally, steadfastly supports Afghan communities, particularly women and children, to build a resilient, empowered future.
